President's Letter 2018/2019

Dear Great Valley Middle School families,

Welcome to another year at the Great Valley Middle School! The PTO is ready to help support the school in its efforts to provide our children with a safe, fun, and healthy environment in which to learn and grow.

The PTO strives to do the following:

  1. Keep GVMS families informed about district and school programs, plans, and current activities. In addition to the PTO meetings and website we have a Facebook page (search GVMS PTO) with current information. Please “like” us to be kept informed of the PTO news.

  2. Communicate parental input about policy, curriculum, programs, and activities to school administrators and provide avenues for questions, as well as clarifications.

  3. Coordinate volunteers and ensure activities meet the needs and foster the goals of the entire GVMS community.

  4. Provide funding for school items not covered by the school budget. You can learn more and donate here.

PTO Board Meeting Schedule for 2017/2018

The PTO will hold six meetings throughout the year and parents are encouraged to attend.

In order to accommodate various schedules, some of the meetings are in the afternoon and some of them are in the evening.

At the meetings we plan events and discuss current school issues.  Meetings are held in MS Dining Room.
